Local Police Arrest U.S. Sailor in Killing

Japanese police arrested a U.S. sailor they accuse of robbing and fatally beating a woman.
The U.S. Navy handed over William Oliver Reese, 21, to Kanagawa prefectural police to face charges in Tuesday’s killing in Yokosuka, 30 miles southwest of Tokyo, police officials said on condition of anonymity.
