Judge Says Hotel Can’t Evict Katrina Victims
A judge blocked about 100 hurricane victims’ eviction from a New Orleans hotel that had ordered them out to make room for new guests.

On Monday, the Federal Emergency Management Agency announced that it would continue to pay for victims’ hotel rooms while it ironed out issues arising from a class-action lawsuit.
