Re “Gov.’s Top Aides’ Pay Bolstered by Donors,” Jan. 15
Shouldn’t state employees who are making well over $100,000 a year have enough work to do that they would be too busy to take on additional part-time work? High-level employees in the governor’s office, who are paid rather handsomely, should devote all their work time to justifying their high salaries and do all their work on behalf of the taxpayers who pay those salaries.
Let the governor hire other people to run his reelection campaign so his official staff can run the state government, which is what they are paid to do.
