Fourth-Grader Struck by Air-Gun Pellet at Recess

A fourth-grader out at recess at his elementary school Thursday was shot by a plastic pellet fired by an air pistol, police said.
A 16-year-old in an apartment across the street from Kittridge Street Elementary School was arrested in connection with the incident.
The victim, Principal Joan Blair said, had a red mark on his chest but was otherwise uninjured.
