The honeymoon might not be over, but the honeymoon house has had its day for singer-songwriter Seal and his wife, supermodel Heidi Klum.

It has only been a year since the couple chose the one-story Bel-Air estate as their first home as newlyweds, but they’ve already put it on the market at $5.5 million.

If they can get that price, they should realize a tidy profit. They purchased the nearly 2-acre property for about $4.3 million.

The gated contemporary, on a hidden, private road, has four bedrooms and 4 1/2 bathrooms in slightly more than 5,200 square feet. It has city-to-coastline views, soaring ceilings, a step-down living room, a pool, a stone patio, a deck and a grassy lawn.

The house was built in 1960 and was remodeled before Seal, 42, and Klum, 32, moved into it. Since then, they’ve added onto their family with the arrival of a son (Klum’s second child) in September, so they may be planning to buy a larger home.

Klum’s reality series, “Project Runway,” returned for its second season in December to Bravo. Klum was on the Emmy’s red carpet in September as a nominee for the series. She is also a Victoria’s Secret model.

Seal will make his film debut playing a bad guy in the new James Bond film “Casino Royale,” due out in November. Seal will play Solari, an African money launderer who takes on Bond, played by Daniel Craig.

‘Vegas’ star prefers life in Glendale

James Lesure, who plays surveillance-team member Mike Cannon on the hit NBC series “Las Vegas,” prefers to make his home in a smaller town.

The 30-year-old actor, born and raised in L.A., has settled into a Glendale house he bought about six months ago for about $1.2 million. And he has already finished some remodeling.

He expanded the den and turned it and the kitchen into a great room. The traditional-style house, built in 1950, was updated earlier with a gourmet kitchen and a mahogany deck with a spa.

The house has three bedrooms and two bathrooms in 2,400 square feet. The backyard has fruit trees and an English garden, featured on HGTV before Lesure bought the property.

The neighborhood is known for its old-growth trees dating to the 1920s. There are still some 100-year-old avocado trees in the neighborhood, where avocado orchards once stood. Many of the homes in the area also were built in the 1920s.

Lesure, a USC grad who studied theater in England, has appeared on TV in “Alias” and “The Division.” He also played opposite Denzel Washington and Gene Hackman in the movie “Crimson Tide.”

Dilbeck Realtors had the listing.

Makeover king is at it again

Sandy Gallin is rebuilding again. The producer of “Buffy, the Vampire Slayer” and “Father of the Bride,” and the former manager of Dolly Parton and other stars, has purchased, by his count, his 34th house to redo.

Gallin bought his latest project, in Beverly Hills north of Sunset Boulevard, for just under $7 million. The house, which he will completely rebuild, is reached by way of a long, private driveway and has city views.

It has about 4,500 square feet. Gallin plans to build a 7,000- to 8,000-square-foot contemporary.

The last house he rebuilt was sold last year for about $30 million. It was in Malibu.

Kurt Rappaport of Westside Estate Agency represented Gallin in buying the Beverly Hills house.

Old-home week in West Hollywood

Tawney Kitaen, a star of “The Surreal Life 6” on VH1, just closed escrow on two units next to each other in the Sierra Towers in West Hollywood for a combined $4.2 million.

Kitaen, who starred in rock band Whitesnake’s music videos and was co-host of “America’s Funniest People” (1992-94) before her widely publicized divorce from former Angels pitcher Chuck Finley, previously owned the units, facing the hills, but sold them a year ago for a total of $3.2 million to buy a house in the area.

The actress, 44, missed the Towers so much, however, that she asked Russell Filice of Sotheby’s International Realty in Beverly Hills to represent her in persuading the buyers to sell the units back to her.

The units included one with three bedrooms in 2,400 square feet and one with one bedroom in 1,300 square feet.

A world beyond Chatsworth

Actress Tami Roman, who is probably best known for her appearances on MTV’s “The Real World,” has listed her Chatsworth home at $1.75 million. Roman eventually plans to maintain homes on both coasts. She is originally from New York.

Her Chatsworth home, in a gated community, has six bedrooms and 6 1/2 bathrooms in 5,300 square feet. The home also has four fireplaces, bamboo window treatments, a master suite with a spa tub, a designer kitchen with stainless-steel appliances, a pool, spa and sports court.

Roman, 35, will appear opposite comedians Anthony Anderson and Guy Torry in the upcoming movie “The Last Stand” and is due to costar as actor Henry Simmons’ wife in the film “South of Pico.” She has had guest-starring parts in numerous sitcoms, including “The Drew Carey Show” and “The Parkers.”

Michael Barasch and Kristina Kaminski of the Barasch Group at Re/Max in Sherman Oaks are the listing agents, and they plan to represent Roman in buying on the East Coast.
