Gas Pipelines Destroyed Amid Militant Campaign

Suspected separatist rebels blew up three natural gas pipelines in a series of attacks against security forces and energy installations in India’s northeastern Assam state.
The attacks, which killed at least two and wounded at least eight others, occurred as separatist militants were stepping up a campaign to boycott Republic Day, a national holiday this week.
