Ammonia Spill Forces 1,500 to Evacuate
An overturned truck that spilled 10 tons of liquid ammonia forced the evacuation of 1,500 residents, a state-run newspaper said. No injuries were reported.
Rescue workers cordoned off the area near Zhongxing village in Guizhou province and were trying to neutralize the ammonia, the China Daily said.
