Values at risk?
RE “Researchers: It’s All Stewart’s Fault,” by Scott Collins, June 27: It’s sad to see Washington Post columnist Richard Morin saying that Comedy Central’s Jon Stewart “may be poisoning democracy.” In fact, a strong dose has already been administered by Tom DeLay, Jack Abramoff, Karl Rove and their ilk. If we must find Stewart guilty of something, it’s making us laugh when we should be crying.
