Re “Broad Attacks Mayor’s Plan for Schools,” July 15
What are philanthropist and civic activist Eli Broad’s credentials for weighing in on this debate? Does he know anything about education? Does he know how classrooms work or how students learn? No -- he just has a lot of money.
The last thing we need are so-called civic leaders thinking they should get to dictate policy just because they have money to toss around.
