The rebirth of rockin’ Scream

Veteran Hollywood talent buyer Dayle Gloria has left the Key Club’s Metal Skool Mondays to launch the rebirth of Scream, her famed rock ‘n’ roll club. Called 21st Century Scream, the weekly club is scheduled to hit the Viper Room on Saturdays in September. The original Scream launched in 1985 and featured such artists as the Cult, Stone Temple Pilots and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. In the meantime, you’ll find Gloria DJing on Tuesdays at Citizen Smith, a swanky Cahuenga Boulevard lounge.... Speaking of talent buyers, Steve Zepeda has left his post as head talent buyer for Safari Sam’s.... Vine Street Lounge is morphing into a full-blown rock venue. The Pushstars play Aug. 5; L.A. Guns on Aug. 12.... DASK Productions is hosting its 19th annual summer party at the Paramount back lot on Saturday.

Happy birthday, Cabana Club

Hollywood’s Cabana Club hosts its first anniversary party on Friday, with DJs Cool Whip and Graham Funke at the helm. Among the RSVPs are Ryan Seacrest, Chris Judd, Randy Jackson and Kimberly Stewart.... Among the boys who have checked out Jenna Jameson’s Silicone Sundays weekly show at Forty Deuce in Vegas are Howie Mandel and Flava Flav.... DJ Vice lighted up Jeremy Piven’s birthday party on Sunday at the Polaroid Beach House in Malibu. Lindsay Lohan and Fall Out Boy joined him.... Hip-hop poetry is alive and well at the House of Brews in San Fernando. Titled Mental Mondays, the monthly event takes place the fourth Monday of each month and is hosted by hip-hop maven Mama Hazze and her son DJ Hazze....Tom Jones dug the scene at Dominick’s on Saturday. Grooving to songs from the ‘60s and ‘70s, he and his wife closed the Beverly Boulevard restaurant down.... The popular Monday night hip-hop club Snatch is now holed up at Miyagi’s on the Strip, and both Too Short and Snoop Dogg rocked the mike there recently.... Gnarls Barkley opted to sing “Crazy” at Element on Saturday night, and on hand were such fans as David Spade, newly single Carmen Electra and Jamie Foxx.

For Privilege, life’s just beachy

Privilege on the Strip is throwing an X Games / Maxim party next Thursday, hosted by skater Chad Muska. The nightclub just underwent the knife yet again and has now turned into a beachy oasis.... Chanel’s swag party at the revamped Sunset Tower hotel’s lounge last week attracted Gretchen Mol, Jamie King, Rachel Bilson and Topher Grace....Spotted at the new Las Palmas hot spot Les Deux on Friday: Foxx, Taye Diggs, Keanu Reeves, Leonardo DiCaprio, the Olsen twins, Lohan, Harry Morton and Oscar De La Hoya. Technically, that’s a knockout.
