Interpol Asked to Help ID Mummified Bodies
From Times Wire Reports
Barbados has called in Interpol to help identify the mummified bodies of 11 West Africans found on a boat that may have been drifting for months.
A fisherman reported the vessel adrift off the Caribbean island’s Ragged Point about a month ago.
A preliminary postmortem indicated that the young men died of starvation and dehydration. They are thought to have been immigrants who lost their way while heading for Spain’s Canary Islands.
