Miami Official Charged After Fight at Airport

A Miami city commissioner was charged with battery and disorderly intoxication for fighting with airport police after his flight was canceled, authorities said. Johnny Winton is charged with two felony counts of battery and misdemeanor disorderly conduct. Under Florida law, the governor can remove government officials charged with felonies from office pending the outcome of the case. A spokeswoman for Gov. Jeb Bush said no decision had been made.
