Bring back CNN’s old Anderson

THANKS to Scott Collins and his interpretation of the Anderson Cooper-Angelina Jolie interview [“CNN Gets Less Stodgy, Less Newsy,” June 21]. It seems so long ago that I literally cheered when Cooper blasted politicians in New Orleans for their obvious dereliction of duty. I so hate to see him relegated to merely interviewing famous beauties where that “Don’t BS me” attitude is stifled.

Was he just too irreverent for CNN? I have to wonder.
