Mrs. Erskine deserves me-time

CONGRATULATIONS to Chris Erskine’s wife for doing what I’ve only contemplated ... to run away from home [“Mommy’s on the Milk Carton,” June 22]. To leave the piles of laundry, messy kids now into their 13th year of bickering, messy kids’ friends, cats that throw up, dogs that eat house siding.... the general chaos of my home is more than anyone could stand for longer than 24 hours.

Wherever Mrs. Erskine is, an empty beach or a mountain cabin ... let her have some peace. More likely, with her Mom-guilt intact, she only went to an afternoon movie.
