Acquicor Raises $150 Million in IPO

Acquicor Technology Inc., led by Apple Computer Inc. veterans including co-founder Steve Wozniak, raised $150 million in an initial public offering.

Newport Beach-based Acquicor, a so-called blank-check company, has no products or sales. It will use the money to buy a technology, multimedia or networking business, according to its prospectus.
