Pasadena Convention Company Names CEO

The company that runs the Pasadena Convention & Visitors Bureau, Pasadena Conference Center and Pasadena Civic Auditorium has named a chief executive to replace Roger Smith, who retired in March after nine years with the nonprofit.

The new CEO, Michael Ross, 47, will join Pasadena Center Operating Co. on May 30. Ross previously was CEO of Team San Jose, a nonprofit public-private partnership that manages San Jose’s convention and cultural facilities.
