Two Bomb Blasts Kill 6, Wound 30
From Times Wire Reports
At least six people were killed and more than two dozen hurt in two bomb blasts in the southern Philippines, officials said.
North Cotabato Gov. Emmanuel Pinol said six people were killed and 26 were wounded when a bomb exploded during a festival in Makilala. Earlier, a blast ripped through a market in Tacurong, 30 miles west of Makilala, wounding four.
Local army commanders said both attacks might have been the work of Muslim militants.
