Ford Recalling Nearly 140,000 Cars, Minivans

Ford Motor Co. is recalling nearly 140,000 vehicles in the U.S., the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said.
The recall involves 139,537 Five Hundred and Montego sedans from model year 2005 and Freestar minivans from 2005 and 2006. A faulty latch mechanism can cause a door to open while the vehicle is moving, the agency said.
