Five Killed as Freight, Passenger Trains Collide
From Times Wire Reports
A double-decker passenger train from Luxembourg collided head-on with a freight train in northeastern France, killing at least five people.
Rail officials said the trains ended up on the same track because of maintenance work on an adjoining line. The force of the collision sent freight cars climbing up over the passenger train.
Officials said at least two people were in serious condition.
