TriZetto agrees to buy Plan Data Management

TriZetto Group Inc., a Newport Beach-based information technology provider for health insurance companies and other third-party payers, said it agreed to buy privately held Plan Data Management Inc. for an undisclosed amount.
The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter.
Plan Data Management is a software and services company whose primary products assist Medicare Advantage and Medicare Part D plans to maximize revenue, reduce administration costs and improve compliance.
