Deciphering Cheney
Re “Cheney calls dunking of suspects a ‘no-brainer,’ ” Oct. 28
As usual, the liberal media have distorted Vice President Dick Cheney’s remarks concerning the use of “waterboarding” to extract information from terror suspects. As was obvious to any objective listener, when Cheney appeared to state that the decision to use the controversial interrogation technique was a “no-brainer,” he was not, in fact, referring to waterboarding but to the president.
