Bomb Kills 7 Near Park in Southeast

A bomb blast killed seven people near a park in Diyarbakir, the largest city of Turkey’s restive, mainly Kurdish southeastern region.
The explosion shattered the windows of nearby houses and offices, police said. An estimated 17 other people were injured, some of them seriously.
As many as five children were among the dead. There was no immediate claim of responsibility.
