Ugandan Rebel Reports at Camp as Part of Truce
Ugandan rebel leader Joseph Kony, who is wanted by the International Criminal Court, has turned up at a neutral camp in southern Sudan as part of a truce to end 19 years of conflict in Uganda, a rebel official said.
About 3,500 fighters and 400 women and children are also at the camp, about 550 yards from the border with the Democratic Republic of Congo, formerly known as Zaire.
A truce signed last month calls for rebels to gather in largely uninhabited areas in southern Sudan while a broader peace deal is negotiated.
