Fine-tuning in Italy

Share

CINDY MUELLER of San Juan Capistrano took up the violin at age 51, and her wedding in June was full of violin music. So it’s fitting that the honeymoon involved a stop in Cremona, Italy. This city is home of the world’s most renowned violin makers, starting with Amati and Stradivari in the 16th century. This artisan took a break to show his craft to Mueller and husband Brian. “The violins hanging above his head are for repair, and on the table is one he’s making himself,” said Mueller, who took this with a Canon Powershot A95.
