From Times Wire Reports

Thailand’s new military rulers stepped up efforts to expose alleged corruption in the government they overthrew, setting up a new anti-graft body with the power to seize assets of guilty politicians.

The committee will investigate alleged wrongdoing in the administration of former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra, ousted in a coup Sept. 19.

The military rulers also said they would announce an interim civilian government next week.
