Murder, Kidnap Charges Filed in Dragging Death

Prosecutors in Castle Rock filed murder and kidnapping charges against a man accused in the vehicle dragging death of his 49-year-old girlfriend.
Jose Luis Rubi-Nava, 36, faces charges of first-degree murder after deliberation and second-degree kidnapping.
He was being held without bail and had not yet entered a plea.
The disfigured body of Luz Marie Franco Fierros was found Sept. 18 in a subdivision about 20 miles south of Denver.
