Re “U have 2 c Rosie has to go,” Opinion, April 3

Jonah Goldberg’s column on Rosie O’Donnell is what we’ve come to expect. He is no longer capable of explaining his conservative values. Rather, his mission is to attempt to discredit anything liberal because his right-wing arguments have been thoroughly discredited. About all that’s left is to select a fringe issue like O’Donnell’s uninformed ranting on the 9/11 building collapse, pretend it’s somehow connected to journalism through Barbara Walters’ presence and march inexorably to his conclusion that it gets a pass from scrutiny because it represents left-wing thought. It may surprise Goldberg that after decades of left-wing indoctrination, I don’t listen to O’Donnell on matters of politics or science, nor do my “left-wing wacko” acquaintances.

I’ll agree with him that it’s ridiculous to listen to her arguments about metallurgy if he’ll agree with me that it’s ridiculous to listen to his dismissal of scientific evidence of global warming.

Overall, I agree with Goldberg’s article about O’Donnell’s nonsensical rants on “The View.” I especially like his line that “we shouldn’t have to argue with crazy people.” So, when Goldberg finds a place with rubber spokes for Rosie, can he please make sure there’s room for Ann Coulter, Bill O’Reilly and Max Boot?
