Re “How am I driving? In Mexico City, like a jerk,” April 4

One wonders why Hector Tobar puts his daughter’s life at risk for a “harrowing” 1.3-mile drive to preschool when he could put down the car keys, put on a pair of sneakers and walk his daughter to school. Driving 1.3 miles to school is ridiculous. It’s no wonder Mexico City has some of the worst air pollution and traffic in the world.

Apparently Tobar has never driven in Acapulco. Driving in Mexico City is heaven compared to Acapulco. Acapulco’s traffic is chaos to the nth power. Nobody obeys the traffic laws there.
