They’re posse-footing around

Share

LOOK out, the boys are back in town. 1. Jeremy Piven, left, Adrian Grenier and Kevin Connolly looked like the new-millennium Rat Pack at the April 5 season premiere at the Cinerama Dome of HBO’s “Entourage,” that show about a hot young Hollywood hunk and his posse living the life in El Lay. All the rooms in Brent Bolthouse’s bash in Ivar Studio were decorated to suit the characters’ personalities. A pool table and simulated driving range for Eric (Connolly). Dancers in silver lame bikinis for Turtle, played by Jerry Ferrara. A high-powered office for Ari (Piven). A Viking Quest photo booth for Drama, a.k.a. Kevin Dillon, and a full-on celebrity petting zoo VIP area for Vince (Grenier). Did we mention babes in bubbling hot tubs for 2. Doug Ellin, the show’s creator? 3. Haylie, left, and Hilary Duff did a quick babes-in-black sister act and 4. Rex Lee gave his on-screen boss, Piven, a big mmmwah. Hey, guys, it’s “hug it out.” Not “smooch it up.”

If it makes you happy, going green can’t be bad

Elle magazine celebrated its second annual Green issue at Boulevard 3 on April 5 with -- are you ready? -- a shockingly innovative green carpet. 5. Sheryl Crow did a short acoustic set, cheered on by pal Eva Longoria before the two sneaked away to Sheryl’s private -- you guessed it -- green room. 6. Guest editor Laurie David greeted guests Crow, Gabrielle Reece, Maggie Grace, Nia Vardalos, Davis Guggeheim and Jessica Capshaw before 7. KT Tunstall took the stage and owned it.

Happy hunting ground at ‘Year of the Dog’ premiere

10. “Year of the Dog” writer-director Mike White looked as if he’d swallowed a Milk-Bone the wrong way at the April 5 premiere on the Paramount lot, with “Dog” stars Laura Dern, left, and Molly Shannon. Shannon plays a woman obsessed with her beagle who gets involved in animal rights after he dies; something 11. real-life animal activist Lea Thompson, there with her daughter Zoe, could relate to. Meanwhile, 12. frequent “Saturday Night Live” host Drew Barrymore -- who was just named the new face of CoverGirl cosmetics -- went doggone nuts when she saw Shannon, her old “SNL” pal.

And no party is complete without ...

... a fully clothed dip in the pool. 8. Heidi Klum, the Ever Ready battery-powered baby machine / swimsuit supermodel / entrepreneur, made a real splash with several tuxedoed male models in the Beverly Hills Hotel pool April 4. Promoting her second jewelry collection for QVC and proving irrefutably that life is not fair, 9. Heidi gets in the swim and manages to look good even when soaking wet.
