Vineland Boys gang leader gets life in prison

The leader of a San Fernando Valley gang was sentenced Monday to life in prison on racketeering, money laundering and drug trafficking charges.
Rafael Yepiz, 35, of Reseda was the last of nine convicted at trial last year. Overall, 49 alleged members of the Vineland Boys were named in a federal indictment meant to rout the gang and disrupt its drug trafficking network; 26 pleaded guilty.
