New life: New episodes of the canceled NBC daytime drama “Passions” will air on DirecTV’s original programming channel, the 101, beginning Sept. 17, 10 days after its final episode on NBC. The majority of the cast and crew are expected to return when production begins in August.
Picasso Goes Vegas: The Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art, at the Bellagio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, will open an exhibition of more than 30 ceramic objects by Pablo Picasso on May 25.
Hosting gig: Comic Sarah Silverman has been tapped to host the 2007 MTV Movie Awards on June 3 at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City.
