Russian police arrested a student on charges he posted a video on the Internet showing the alleged execution of two men beneath a Nazi flag, according to the prosecutor general’s office.

The student at Maykop State Technical University in the republic of Adygeya received the video as an e-mail attachment from an unknown sender, the office said. One of the apparent victims was from Tajikistan and the other from Russia’s southern republic of Dagestan.

He “was aware that his actions may cause hatred or hostility towards a group of people because of their nationality,” the office said. The clip was on Russian ultranationalist websites.
