Assemblyman is fined for finance violations
From Times Staff and Wire Reports
Assemblyman Bob Huff (R-Diamond Bar) was fined $7,000 Thursday by the state Fair Political Practices Commission for campaign finance violations, including failure to file an electronic disclosure of $184,000 in loans he made to his 2004 campaign committee.
In an agreement with the panel, Huff also admitted violating state law by failing to file a statement of intention to become a candidate before he began raising money for his 2004 Assembly campaign.
