Gunmen seize up to 30 hostages

Gunmen took as many as 30 people hostage in Iran’s southeast after burning vehicles and shooting at passengers, news agencies said, in an incident blamed on Sunni Muslim rebels Tehran has linked to Al Qaeda.
The attackers took the hostages across the border into Pakistan, state television said.
