Will taxpayers get Wall Street bill?

The debacle in hedge funds and mortgage lending is the latest example of the greed and ignorance in the financial community (“Wall St. humbled by hedge funds,” Aug. 14). Sooner or later taxpayers will have to ante up to save what they’ll be told could otherwise turn into a worldwide catastrophe.
