There are good bartenders, and there is Albert Trummer (pictured). The Austrian master, who calls himself a “bar chef,” has been dazzling diners with his unique libations over the last few months behind the bar at Culver City’s Fraiche restaurant. “I’m taking skills I learned in the kitchen to create liquid cuisine,” he says. “You can have a drink after the meal as good as the meal.” Trummer, who is on loan from New York (he’s a veteran of such places as the Chambers Hotel’s Town Restaurant), says he hopes to open his own bar here soon. The 39-year-old mixologist already has fans from all over the world and has conjured up elaborate cocktails for the likes of Usher and the royal family of Thailand. . . . No one knows the so-called Cahuenga Corridor like Kristopher Keith. The founder of Spacecraft, a Los Angeles-based design firm, has made a name for himself in a short period of time. Keith’s latest design project will probably wow crowds tonight when Michael Sutton’s new upscale Indian-themed lounge, Goa, opens to a VIP crowd (it’s open to the public later this month). . . . Goa is just one of several projects Keith is behind -- most of them on the same block (Cahuenga between Hollywood and Selma). The next Keith-designed project to open on Cahuenga will be Kitchen 24, a diner with a full bar (opening in March), followed by the first bar in which Keith will be a partner, Bar Deluxe. Keith is most excited about the Art Deco-inspired Deluxe (at 1624 Cahuenga). “What I’m doing there is centered around a 50-foot-long-by-12-foot-high stained-glass piece -- it’s stunning and sits right behind the bar. People will really like the space,” he says. . . . Openings: Central holds its first exclusive bash in Hollywood on Saturday; look for a public opening sometime this month. Although WeHo’s Libertine Lounge (8210 Sunset Blvd.) has been serving for weeks, its official grand opening bash is Saturday as well. The back patio here is a must-see. Finally, the new Hard Rock Hotel San Diego debuts Dec 10, with the Black Eyed Peas getting the property started off right.
