Buffalo beauty

This handsome Cheyenne Horn occasional table strikes a commanding stance that’s in keeping with the trend toward modern rusticity. The three-legged base and mosaic-tiled top were created from naturally shed buffalo horns. By mixing the ruggedness of the horns with the clean look of a metal-banded round top, the highly polished piece serves many design masters, bringing a great-outdoors glamour to city or country interiors. The table is small -- not quite 16 inches in diameter and about 1 1/2 feet tall -- and it cannot double as a stool. But at $179.95, it serves as an affordable end table or nightstand.
