WRONG VEHICLE

I was appalled to see your use of the word “pimp” in the line, “Kids, want to pimp your scooters?” to describe an activity aimed at children [Kidspace Rosebud Parade, Dec. 6].

This is a derogatory term used in gang culture. That you ran a photo of a darling girl who looks to be about 4 years old on her decorated bike along with the story makes it even worse. Have you no standards or class?
