Regarding “Nest Feathered by Father Goose,” Hot Property, Jan. 7: The architect who built the Los Feliz home for D.W. Pontius, which was later lived in by Cary Grant and Randolph Scott, was Wesley Eager. He built several important homes and public buildings in Los Angeles. His father was A.W. Eager of the firm Hunt & Eager, credited with developing parts of the West Adams district, Venice and the Raymond Hotel in South Pasadena.
