Re “Michigan denies same-sex benefits,” Feb. 3

A Michigan court rules that the state’s new marriage amendment effectively denies healthcare benefits to same-sex partners, and Brad Snavely of the Michigan Family Forum hopes judges in other states will follow suit. There are probably a few people who still believe that groups like Snavely’s are truly interested in “protecting families” rather than merely punishing gays and lesbians.
