Death sentences
Re “Stay of executions,” Opinion, Feb. 3
If Andrew Cohen does not like the death penalty, then he should say it. If he thinks there is an innocent man on death row, then he should name him. But he shouldn’t hide behind the shield of self-righteousness. The people sentenced to death in California have had their cases examined and have been judged to have committed the most heinous types of murder, torture, rape and robbery. They deserve what they get.
