City official Sarno joins million-tree program
From Times Staff and Wire Reports
Lisa Sarno, interim head of the city’s neighborhood empowerment agency, is joining the city’s million-tree planting program, the office of Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa said Wednesday.
The empowerment agency oversees the city’s neighborhood councils system.
Villaraigosa’s office said a new general manager of the agency is expected to be announced in the next few weeks.
