Stinky stowaway needs a lift
From Times Wire Reports
Canadian wildlife officials are looking for a brave driver prepared for a 2,200-mile trip to return a stowaway skunk to her home in California.
The skunk, accidentally locked in a transport truck, survived a seven-day journey without food or water, but is having a hard time finding a ride home.
“We can never give a no-spray guarantee, of course,” said Nathalie Karvonen, executive director at the Toronto Wildlife Center.
The skunk probably dozed off in piping at a storage yard before it was loaded onto the truck.
