Alleged drug cartel leader held

Mexican authorities announced the capture of the purported leader of a drug cartel based in the southern state of Oaxaca.
Pedro Diaz Parada was taken to Mexico City. He faces charges related to organized crime and drug trafficking, the attorney general’s office announced.
