India hands over 43 freed prisoners
From Times Wire Reports
Indian officials handed over 43 Pakistani prisoners to Pakistani authorities after their release from jails where they had been held from two to 15 years, a border official said.
India arrested the prisoners for crossing the rival countries’ border illegally, or for overstaying, the Pakistani official said.
He said Pakistan would free 50 Indian prisoners today.
