Shamrock opposes Reddy Ice deal

Burbank-based Shamrock Capital Advisors wants to put the freeze on a takeover of a major ice company by an investment group.
In a letter to directors of Dallas-based Reddy Ice Holdings Inc., Shamrock, which owns 5.4% of the company, called the transaction “at the wrong time, for the wrong price.”
