6 Russian workers are abducted
From Times Wire Reports
Gunmen kidnapped six Russians and shot dead a local driver in a residential compound of a Russian aluminum company in Nigeria, authorities said.
The abductions raised to 30 the number of foreigners being held by armed groups in the lawless southern delta.
The attack came a day after the rebel Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta announced a one-month halt to attacks on oil facilities.
