Fire damages home in Highland Park
Firefighters work to extinguish a blaze that started Sunday afternoon at a home on Milwaukee Avenue in Highland Park, left. Residents of the home escaped unharmed. Vicky Miranda reacts to the fire, which damaged her next-door neighbor’s home, right. The fire started outdoors and spread to the attic. The cause was not immediately known. It took firefighters about half an hour to extinguish the blaze.
