Driver accused in dragging death
A woman trying to stop a motorist from fleeing after a collision with her car was dragged for several miles to her death under the man’s minivan, officials said in Fort Lauderdale.
Bilal Hamze, 24, faces a charge of first-degree murder in the death of Sandra Hall, 44, authorities said.
Hamze, an American citizen, was detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport, Broward County Sheriff’s spokesman Elliot Cohen said. He was on a plane bound for Athens, Greece.
