Megan Mullally, an Emmy winner for “Will & Grace,” will join Tony winners Roger Bart, Sutton Foster and Shuler Hensley in Mel Brooks’ musical adaptation of his 1974 film “Young Frankenstein,” the producers said Thursday.

The stage show opens in Seattle Aug. 7, then is slated to move to Broadway in October, taking up residence at the Hilton Theatre, where the current occupant, the Boublil & Schonberg musical “The Pirate Queen,” is scheduled to close June 17 after 85 performances, reportedly at a loss of at least $16 million.

Brooks wrote the music and lyrics for “Young Frankenstein” and is teamed again with two of his collaborators from his smash hit “The Producers”: Thomas Meehan, who co-wrote the book with him, and director Susan Stroman.
